From this year we can provide our conveyor belts with a hydraulic cylinder so that the belt can swing sideway without difficulty. With the longer belts and and mainly on a sloping surface, it is becoming hard to swing the belt by hand. With this additional option it takes little effort to swing the belt. The cylinder is operated by a lever. To ensure adequate security an extra guard is mounted.» Lees verder
The onion harvesters now come with a new type of depth control. Because the hydraulic discs transfer the onions into the machine more space has become available for running wheels, which can be fitted on the harvesting shaft. This system follows the bed even more beautifully than before. The wheels of the depth control run in the tractor track.» Lees verder
Besides the standard discharge conveyor on the onion loaders, a large 4-piece discharge conveyor is currently also available for the onion loaders. This 105cm-wide discharge conveyor is designed to fill the increasingly higher tippers and trucks. As a result, the bottom of the discharge conveyor has been extended to about 4 metres in height.
The discharge conveyor can be folded over the machine during transport so as to keep it compact in width and height.
In response to a request made by one of our customers in the summer of 2013, we developed an onion harvester with two conveyor belts that deliver the onions to the centre of the machine. It also comes with a rotating (haulm) roller that is positioned behind the second web.
This system is used to eliminate the need for drop plates. Thus, cleaning of the harvester is no longer necessary during wet weather conditions and the onions are spread more evenly across the windrow.
After a season of testing, we are pleased to announce that we will be offering this system as an option in our onion harvester range.
